Zeffy sustains itself by asking donors to add an optional contribution to their platform at checkout. This contribution is entirely separate from your donation to Valor and Faith.

Qualified Charitable Distributions
Donors aged 70 and a half or older can transfer funds directly from an IRA to Valor and Faith. Provide your IRA administrator with our legal name (The Bezines Group) and EIN (33-2823860).

- Yes. Valor and Faith is the operating name of The Bezines Group, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 33-2823860). All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive a written acknowledgment for every gift.
- How much of my donation actually reaches the mission?
- When you set the optional platform fee to zero during checkout, 100% of your gift reaches Valor and Faith and funds programs for combat veterans, active duty military, National Guard, Reserve members, and first responders. Our donation processor, Zeffy, defaults the platform fee to 15%. You can change this to zero by selecting "Other" on the fee line at checkout. We recommend it.

- Valor and Faith serves combat veterans, active duty military, National Guard members, Reserve members, and first responders including police, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel. Programs run throughout Texas with concentrations in the Houston and San Antonio regions. Warriors travel in from across the country to participate in outdoor retreats and fellowship programs.
- Who leads Valor and Faith?
- Valor and Faith is veteran-founded and veteran-led. The organization was co-founded by Marc Besinaiz, President and CEO, and Stephen-Michael Besinaiz, a retired Lieutenant Colonel with a Special Operations Forces background who serves as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President. Leadership serves the mission with a commitment to transparency and stewardship of every donor gift.
- Can I donate from outside Texas?
- Yes. Valor and Faith accepts donations from supporters nationwide. Every donor receives the same tax-deductible acknowledgment regardless of location. Programs are based in Texas, and warriors from across the country participate in outdoor retreats hosted at partner properties.

- Your gift funds guided outdoor retreats, fellowship programming, horseback rides, faith-rooted expeditions, and career mentorship for combat veterans, active duty military, National Guard, Reserve members, and first responders.
