Programs of Valor and Faith.

Service forges bonds unlike any other. When the uniform comes off, those bonds often fade. The isolation that follows can break a warrior who survived everything else. Valor and Faith exists to bring them back together through intentional fellowship in the places that restore them.

We partner with private ranches, outfitters, guide services, and outdoor organizations to send veterans and first responders on shared experiences that honor the brotherhood forged in service. Hunting, fishing, horsemanship, wilderness retreats, sporting clays, and faith-rooted gatherings create the space for warriors to reconnect with each other and with purpose.

Our programs welcome active duty military, reserve, National Guard, veterans of all eras, and first responders across police, fire, and emergency medical services. Families are welcomed at family-inclusive events. We host gatherings at VFW posts, on partner ranches, and in communities where those who served can find each other again.

The Brochin Expeditions Package is the operational anchor of everything Valor and Faith does outside. In partnership with Brochin Expeditions, we deliver an expedition built for the warriors who carry the deepest weight from their service. Combat veterans are matched to the experience through our referral network, including Wounded Warrior Project, Mission 22, and other partner organizations.

The Texas program runs out of the Brochin Ranch in Brackettville, three thousand acres of South Texas hunting country. Guided trophy hunting includes Axis buck, Aoudad, and Black buck, with optional add-ons for Gemsbock, Scimitar Oryx, Kudu, Sable, Rhône, Nyala, or Lechwe. Lodging, meals, and on-ranch transportation are included. The ranch is wheelchair capable and ADA friendly.

The Florida program operates out of Panama City Beach for saltwater fishing in the Gulf. Coastal expeditions extend the Brochin partnership into open water, giving combat veterans a different kind of restoration than the ranch alone provides.

Each expedition ends the same way it begins: warriors at the fire, at the table, telling the stories that only get told around men who understand what the day cost.

For many who have served, faith provided the foundation that carried them through trials seen and unseen. Valor and Faith creates space for veterans, first responders, and their families to gather in faith-rooted fellowship throughout the year. These are not counseling sessions or therapy. They are spaces where warriors meet warriors in the presence of faith, strengthening one another through shared belief and shared experience.

Our spiritual fellowship programs include retreats, small group gatherings, and faith-based outdoor experiences. Through our partnership with the Archdiocese for the Military Services USA, we extend access to chaplaincy support and spiritual care for those who seek it.

Once a year, we walk together. The annual pilgrimage is the cornerstone of our faith programming, anchored to the Feast of Saint Michael the Archangel, the patron of soldiers, police officers, and warriors of all kinds. The same patron the Royal Brotherhood has carried for nearly nine centuries. We share this sacred road with the veterans and first responders we serve, and we invite those who are called to walk it with us.

Military service builds exceptional skills that translate to the civilian workforce. The translation is not always obvious. Valor and Faith connects veterans with mentors who made the same walk and can speak to it directly. This is not formal counseling. It is peer-to-peer mentorship from people who understand both the military experience and the civilian professional landscape.

Our mentorship is anchored by leadership with decades of combined military service and civilian career experience. Stephen-Michael Besinaiz served 28 years in Special Operations Forces and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. Steve Cargill served 22 years as a Special Forces and Ranger officer. Marc Alan Besinaiz, President and CEO, brings civilian leadership and career experience for veterans navigating the move from uniform to civilian work. Together they offer guidance grounded in real experience on both sides of that transition.

Conversations are personalized and outcome-focused. Whether a veteran is transitioning out of service, considering a career change, or exploring entrepreneurship, we connect them with the right voice at the right time. The goal is honest counsel, not generic advice.

Bandera, Texas calls itself the Cowboy Capital of the World, and for good reason. The Hill Country town has carried horseback heritage for generations. In partnership with Bandera Historical Rides, Valor and Faith brings veterans and first responders into the saddle for trail rides that range from a quiet hour along the Medina River to a full day deep in 5,400 acres of state natural area.

The program offers a full menu of ride experiences. River and Town rides through Bandera City Park follow nature trails lined with giant Cypress trees, suitable for first-time riders through advanced. Hill Country State Natural Area rides cover the former Bar-O Ranch, now managed by Texas Parks and Wildlife, with over 40 miles of multiuse trails through rugged hills and pasture country. Half-day rides include lunch on the trail. Sunset rides finish the day in Hill Country light. For groups willing to stay over, Bandera offers camp-out rides with the horses.

The Bandera Ranch is one mile outside town on 89 acres of rolling oak hills and pasture. Riders can catch, groom, and saddle their own horse before riding out, with the Longhorns and ranch dogs alongside. Every ride is paced to the least experienced rider in the group, so brothers can ride together regardless of background.
